Size Guide
All items will have measurements provided for you to help compare with measurements to similar pieces you may already own. Please note that all measurements are taken while the garment is laid flat.
I will always provide a US size comparison in the item's description, but we recommend comparing the measurements given in the description of the garment, to the measurements taken from a similar garment you already own and your own body's measurements. By doing so, you will gain a better understanding of how the garment will fit you, and you will be able to better judge how your potential purchase might compare. This can be done by laying it flat on a smooth surface, and measuring it with a measuring tape.
How to measure a garment laying flat:
Bust - Take the measurement across the chest of the garment, from side seam to sides seam. The measuring tape goes across the garment directly under the armpits, where the side seam meets the sleeve. Double this length to determine the bust circumference.
For sleeveless tops, the measurement would be taken across the garment right under the arm holes.
Waist - Measure side seam to side seam at about 7 inches down from armpits and double.
Hip - Measure the widest part of the lower half of the front of the dress. Double the length.
Length - Down the back of the shirt, starting from the center of the collar.
Sleeve length - This measurement is taken from the back of the shirt, starting at the center of the neck and going down the sleeve to the cuff.
Bottoms
Waist - Measure across the top of the waistband, and double this measurement.
Hip - Measure across your the widest area of the garment, usually at the base of the zipper. Edge to edge.
Inseam - Measure the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
